Ways for improving the quality of coal products

More strict requirements to environmental protection have led to necessity to improve quality of coal products used in iron and steel industry. Processing of coals should be more efficient. Utilization of low-quality coal leads to production of low-quality coke, to damage of coke oven brickwork. Contents of sulfur and other impurities should be minimal. Quality of power generating coal can be improved by means of increase in contents of organic substances and decrease in contents of moisture and mineral substances. Content of substance harmful for environment should be minimal. Modern methods of concentration allow to improve quality of coal products.
