Aim to reduce effluent and consumption of bleaching chemicals and water by Portucel Cacia in Portugal with the installation of two TwinRoll wash presses supplied by Metso Chemical Pulping Lines is presented. The installation of the new wash presses will be done in two existing parallel washing lines. The new wash presses will replace vacuum washers.
