摘要：

This paper describes the welding consumables and processes which are used exclusively in the welding of oil storage tanks. Particularly the MF33H submerged arc welding flux, the SUBSTAR-S portable submerged arc welding machine and the highly efficient SEG-ARC vertical welding process are being used in many oil tank constructions, and will effectively improve the quality of weld joints.
