摘要
Air entrainment, which occurs when a negative pressure pocket exists in a duct or process operation, is often the problem when an air handling system is operating improperly or creating a health hazard. Problems created by air entrainment, temperature differences, and excessive velocity at the supply outlet are common in industrial air handling systems. Typical plant problems resulting from these three airflow conditions, and the solutions arrived at by ventilation engineers, are discussed in a two-part series. This first article discusses air entrainment. Subjects covered include negative pressure pockets, and paint booth problems.
