摘要：
A theoretical model of static flotation is considered and a kinetic equation is proposed that describes the process in which a suspension is aerated as it flows in a thin layer over a porous band. Two principal stages of mineralization of bubbles are distinguished. Static and conventional flotation are compared with respect to the effects of particle size and rate constants. The advantages of the new method as well as possibilities for optimization of a static flotation machine are outlined.
