摘要
Linear motors may be a valuable source of drive where translatory motion is required. Their use makes it possible to eliminate a mechanical transmission gear and to reduce the level of the noise associated with the operation of equipment. Tubular motors are particularly useful for producing translatory motion within a range of from a score of millimeters to a few meters. The principles of operation of these motors, their design features and performance curves are given. The speed control principles and the applications are discussed. The parameters of a pilot series manufactured in Poland are presented.
