A comparison is made between powder coatings, one and two-component high-solids, watersoluble and waterdispersible paints on one hand and a conventional solvent-containing enamel on the other. All systems are polyester-based. Starting point for the comparison is the question: Which of the above systems is the best approximation of the ″ideal″ coating system?
