PREVIOUS ARTICLES IN THESE SERIES HAVE DEALT ONLY WITH CONVENTIONAL PAINTS - WHERE FILM FORMATION DEPENDS ON SOLVENT EVAPORATION. THIS ARTICLE EXAMINES SOME OTHER METHODS OF FORMING FILMS, AND THE PAINTS BASED ON THEM. IT DISCUSSES DISPERSION COATINGS, WATER SOLUBLE SYSTEMS, SOLVENTLESS SYSTEMS, POWDER COATINGS, EMULSION PAINTS, PLASTISOLS AND ORGANOSOLS, AIR DRYING ALKYDS, STORING SYSTEMS, ELECTRODEPOSITION SYSTEMS, TWO PACK EPOXY AND ULTRAVIOLET CURE SYSTEMS.
