摘要
The strength accelerating effect of a chloride-free admixture is investigated with two types of commercially available portland cements, each with two different fly ashes. The accelerator is a water-soluble organic material belonging to the carboxylic acid group. The results show that considerable strength increases are produced by the use of this accelerator. More specifically it is shown in this paper that the use of an accelerating admixture can offset this strength reduction without reproportioning and without adversely affecting the strength at later ages.
