The temperature and humidity fields and the corresponding stresses in a concrete plate subjected to heat treatment are determined. It is shown that by distributing the heat treatment cycle over time phases corresponding to changes in the properties of the concrete and in the effect of the environment, the initial-boundary value problem described by partial differential equations with variable coefficients can be reduced to recursive equations with constant coefficients. The approach is illustrated by means of a numerical example.
