摘要
M/s. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Company Limited (GNFC), owning World's Largest Single Stream Ammonia & Urea Plants, was facing the problem of poor value of dew point and presence of dust in instrument air. GNFC took a number of measures like changing dessicants, using SS tubes in intercoolers, using special non-lubricated type valves, providing flow measuring devices, micro-filters etc. As a result, quality of instrument air has now improved considerably. Value of dew point is now minus 40 degree C and for the last two years, dust is not found in IA headers.
