摘要
A study was performed on x-ray emission spectra induced by hydrogenic ions in charge transfer collisions. The initial excited populations were derived and predictions of the energies and intensities of lines in the soft x-ray and extreme ultraviolet regions were made. It was shown that these lines when observed would be powerful diagnostic probes of the capture mechanism.
