摘要：
The present study deals with water supply in contemporary Romania, from the point of view of the problems facing scientific research in this field. Emphasis is laid upon the importance of this problem in the interior, as well as upon the directions of development in the field for the quality improvement of the treated water delivered to consumers as a means of enhancing the quality of life. Examples of solutions for water treatment are also presented.
