摘要
The dependence of the decarburization rate on the degree of oxidation of the melt surface is established. At carbon concentrations greater than equivalent to 0. 25% the metal surface is not oxidized and the decarburization rate remains constant. At carbon concentrations less than 0. 1-0. 08% maximum adsorption of oxygen on the surface is achieved the process enters the intradiffusion range, and the decarburization rate remains constant. In the concentration range from 0. 25 to 0. 08% the decarburization process occurs in a mixed regime.
