Increase of stability of mixtural diesel fuels by means of composite additive

Inhibiting effectiveness of composite additive MING-1 in diesel fuels containing light gas oil of catalytic cracking was studied. The additive comprises two components: AF commercial aminophenol antioxidant and KOBS series dispersant which is industrial waste. Inhibiting effectiveness was evaluated by two methods: GNIIKh and ASTM D 3241. It is shown that composite additives of the MING-1 series in the concentration of 0.015% mass and antioxidant:dispersant ratio of 1:3 (mass) improve effectively chemical stability of diesel fuels containing nonhydrofined light gas oil of catalytic cracking under storage conditions. It is pointed out that at high temperatures effectiveness of the additives depends on dispersant composition.
