摘要
Reservoir size can make a difference in the initial cost of the hydraulic system, but it may not be obvious that reservoir size can also affect maintenance and operating costs over the life of the system. If suction and return lines are located properly, a reservoir sized at a ratio of 10:1 would serve all but the most unique situations, and provide the most cost/effective operation. The reservoir is a source of fluid for the pumps, but it is also a place where fluid cooling can occur, where air bubbles can be removed, where water will separate and drop to the bottom, where heat may be added to maintain bulk fluid temperatures, and where larger particles can drop out of suspension.
