The correct application of handling and preheating plastics processors and related devices can bring major savings in labour costs and, in some instances too, reductions in the use of electrical energy. In this specially prepared survey the author details newly introduced ancillaries including material handling devices, hopper loaders, weighers and preblenders and drying and hopper preheaters. Manufacturers of equipments discussed are listed.
