Transfer dies compete with fine blanking

摘要：
The relative merits of two ways to make quality parts, namely fine blanking and the shave- and- transfer method, are discussed. Some illustrated examples are given and it is concluded that the cost per month to make 100,000 pieces would be 14,200 dollars with fine blanking, 17,000 dollars with compound blanking, and only 9600 dollars with transfer dies.
