UK demand for paper still strong

The demand for the graphic papers in UK has remained strong. The biggest growth rates were reported in the newsprint and coated woodfree sectors. Demand for the packaging paper and board was found to be weak. The UK newsprint market remained strong with newspaper publishers having boosted paging levels. The growth in the coated woodfree sector and sensitive papers was very low. There was an increased demand for the uncoated mechanical and coated mechanical grades reported highest demand level.
