Simulation management in production. Continuous reductions in product life cycles also give rise to increased momentum in the development and optimization of production systems. Whilst tools for simulating specific aspects of a production system can help their users solve problems directly related to these aspects, their integration into the overall planning of product and production system has been inadequate until now. The simulation management system and the underlying concepts help increase the efficiency of simulation projects significantly. © 2000 Carl Hanser Verlag. All rights reserved.
