摘要
In the traditional methods of water-level measurement, The water-level sensors are always affected by some physical properties of water bodies (such as water temperature, water surface tension, etc.). Meanwhile traditional measurement systems are stand-alone mode, making it difficult to achieve simultaneous multi-point measurement. this paper presents a new type of water level detection system to overcome the shortcomings mentioned above. A new type of water level sensor, which takes the stepper motors and mechanical devices as the center, overcomes the impact on the physical properties of the tested water and improves the accuracy and versatility. In addition, the system uses a two-tier structure, the upper-tier takes PC to achieve user interface, the lower-tier choose MCU to control the water-level sensor. One PC, which can control more than one MCU system, can constitute total system by connecting to the computer network in order to achieve a long-distance, multi-point measurement at the same time.
