There is an ongoing development of domain-specific OPC UA specifications. Test cases are defined to achieve the required interoperability between OPC UA devices. This article explains the basics of OPC UA testing and points out the test definition and usage by two examples: OPC UA for machine tools and OPC UA for weighing technology.
