An improved reliable communication algorithm of mobile agent

The efficient and reliable communication algorithm is the premise of running system correctly and effective in mobile agent system, and it is also the focus of mobile agent system research. This paper presents an improved reliable communication algorithm of mobile agent. The new algorithm used the centralized synchronization control of message forwarding mechanism. When the agent is ready to migrating to another node, it would send a migration message to inform the home agent the new address which it will arrive. The home agent transmits the message to the new address of agent, if there are task messages for the agent on the way, the home agent will resend the task messages to the new address. When the agent arrives at the new node, it will ask the node for the messages which came before its migration, and send a confirming ACK messages with task code to the home agent. Algorithm analysis shows that the improved algorithm solves communication failure and message chasing problems, and achieves reliable communication of mobile agent system.
