摘要
High quality glass containers with high operational efficiency can be achieved by achieving high quality standards on hot and cold end treatment lines. Hot end and cold end treatment consists of spraying a blend of various emulsified partly oxidized polyethylene waxes in order to promote slipperiness of the containers to each other. The combination of hot and cold end treatments provides treated glass containers with improved scratch resistance resulting in a significant reduction in breakage throughout the supply chain. A complete hot end coating system includes a coating hood, a Certincoat TC100 dosing pump, a coating line controller connected to the hood, and a chemistry supply platform. returnable glass containers are also generally treated with a hot and cold end coating which protects the surface of the bottles for the first few filling cycles.
