Research on the energy expendable ratio of belt conveyor based on variant velocity and filling rate

摘要
In order to research the problem of the energy expendable ratio which based on the variant velocity and filling rate, firstly select the suitable calculation method of resistance by analyzing all these methods. Second, develop the design and calculation software of the conveyor based on above selected calculation method. Last, two horizontal conveyors with different length were simulated by used the software and the saving energy effect was estimated by energy expendable ratio. The changed characteristic of energy expendable ratio which relate to the change of conveyor belt velocity or filling rate was analyzed qualitatively by the curve of energy expendable ratio. In the practice, under the circumstance of the fluctuating transportationed quantity and steady-going filling rate, the purpose of saving energy can be obtained by adjusting the belt velocity.
