摘要
Childhood hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder that affects children's attention, behavioral control, and impulsivity. Acupuncture therapy regulates body functions by stimulating specific points, while sensory integration training improves a child's sensory processing through a series of activities. This study provides an objective evaluation method to monitor and quantify the efficacy of acupuncture combined with sensory integration training in the treatment of children with hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) through medical infrared thermal radiation image examination technology. In the course of treatment, the children's body surface temperature was measured regularly using medical infrared thermal radiation imaging technology. The temperature changes before and after treatment were recorded by a specific infrared thermal imager, and the image data were analyzed by image processing software. Traditional clinical assessment methods, such as the ADHD Symptom rating Scale and behavioral observation records, were combined to comprehensively evaluate the treatment effect. The results showed that after receiving acupuncture combined with sensory integration training, the body surface temperature distribution of children changed significantly. The specific manifestation is an increase in temperature in the treated area, which may reflect an improvement in local blood circulation caused by acupuncture stimulation. Through the analysis of infrared thermal radiation images, we observed a decrease in the temperature of brain regions associated with attention and behavioral control, which was consistent with an improvement in clinical symptoms. Combined with traditional assessment methods, the study found significant reductions in hyperactivity symptoms, extended attention spans, and reduced impulsive behavior in children.
