摘要
Finding suitable anode materials with outstanding properties is crucial for the practical application of sodium ion batteries (SIBs). As a SIB anode, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) has received widespread attention with superior theoretical capacity (670 mA h g(-1)); nevertheless, its poor conductivity and larger volume change limit its further application. In this paper, MoS2 nanosheet coated carbon nanofiber (CNF-MoS2) was prepared by electrospinning and vulcanization. The MoS2 nanosheets in the prepared sample are small, and there is no obvious agglomeration, which is advantageous for promoting the fast transfer of sodium ions and enhancing the electrochemistry properties of the electrodes. Meanwhile, the presence of three-dimensional network carbon nanofibers can enhance the conductivity and mitigate the volume change of MoS2. Electrochemical kinetics tests reveal that capacitive behavior predominates during the cycling process of the CNF-MoS2 electrode, resulting in good rate capability, with a reversible specific capacity maintained at 334.2 mA h g(-1) under 1 A g(-1) after 1000 cycles. This research lays a foundation for the practical application of CNF-MoS2 in SIB anode materials.
