Density-independent arithmetic for moisture measurement of grain with microwave

In the process measuring grain moisture with microwave, grain density is treated to be a factor that influences measuring result under utilization of traditional arithmetic. However, it is hard to measure grain density on line. Thus, the difficulty of measuring moisture content is rather higher. To improve the precision and to eliminate the influence of grain density, a density-independent arithmetic to calculate grain moisture with microwave was presented in the paper to import a density-independent operator. The arithmetic would not only develop the density-independent but also could be used as a standard compensation algorithm. It was suitable for on-line moisture detection on different categories of grain, further ensured the accuracy of test results. ©, 2015, Editorial Department, Chinese Cereals and Oils Association.
