摘要
The paper considers the why, the what and the how of non-conventional energy sources. The why is concerned with the generally agreed phenomenon of global warming and the link with greenhouse gas emissions. The what relates to some of the measures that may be taken to reduce these. The how summarises the possibilities of bringing about reductions on potentially a large scale in due course, through the use of some specific approaches which are here defined as non-conventional - i.e. not in wide commercial use at the moment. © 2010 CAFET-INNOVA TECHNICAL SOCIETY.
