Wind tunnel experiment on conveying sand performance about embankment of desert highway

Authors quoted the flow field theory of sand environment and analyzed the influence of embankment cross-section on flow field and the influence of wind direction on conveying performance about embankment. Using pneumatic test method of sand environment, authors derived multi-factor mathematical model about the index of the embankment resistance sand performance and flow rate, degree of embankment slope, embankment height. Results show that the index of the embankment resistance sand performance and flow velocity have a power function change relation, have a negative index change relation with embankment slope degree, and have index change and linear change relation with embankment height.
