Study on fumigation toxicity of nitrogen gas mixed with ethyl formate on tribolium castaneum (herbst) (coleoptera: tenebrionidae)

In the experiment, we systematically studied the influences of several factors on fumigation effects such as nitrogen gas concentration, tribolium castaneum concentration, and processing time and temperature by the sealed jar fumigation method. The results showed that the increasing nitrogen concentration significantly enhanced the fumigation effects of ethyl formate against tribolium castaneum (P50 of ethyl formate against tribolium castaneum was 20.72 μL/L, 17.49 μL/L, 14.77 μL/L and 9.00 μL/L respectively.
