摘要
Web 2.0 concept reflects an alternative wave of web techniques to create more interactive and easy-to-use web sites using new technology. Ajax is a favorable tool for creating interactive pages with easily changeable components facilitating more technologies than JavaScript and XML. When the technologies like XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and HTML are combined in the Ajax model, web applications become more efficient. Data exchanging with other applications is performed by an Application Programming Interface (API). APIs help designers in finding the way to mashup data from different sources into a novel look and functionality. The Long Tail concept finds application to Web searching while Tag Clouds is synonymous to subject indexing.
