Development of a mobile collimated gamma-ray spectrometer is represented for performance of on-site measurements of gamma-radiation energy distributions. Analysis and selection of the detector for a compact spectrometer is performed. Block diagram of the device and block circuits of the charge-sensitive pre-amplifier and amplifier-former are demonstrated with the description of the principles of their operation. Spectrometer was tested in laboratory and in-the-field replacement. ©2015 by Begell House, Inc.
