Numerical simulation of gas-solid flow and separation in rotational flow

Gas-solid two phase flow and separation efficiency in rotational flow were studied for the application of solid separation by rotational flow, and the separation efficiency expression was carried out. The coalescence and collision among the particles and the influence of water inject were considered. Numerical simulation was used to study the gas-solid two phase flow field, movement characteristics of the particles, and the separation efficiency. The results show that the separator structure has remarkable influence on the flow field and pressure field. The coalescence of the particles can increase the separation efficiency.
