Ferro fluid flow In a cylindrical tube with mild stenosis

摘要
In this paper, the flow of an incompressible ferro fluid (Rosensweig model) through an axisymmetric tube of circular cross section has been investigated. Assuming the stenosis to be mild, the flow equations have been linearised and expressions for volume flux and impedance have been derived. The effects of various parameters on these flow variables have been studied. It is found that impedance increases with the height of the stenosis and also with magnetic parameter.
