摘要：
The systematic development of new products, processes and business models is a key for manufacturing companies to ensure their competitiveness. Within this article the transformation of innovation management from the approach of lean innovation to the contemporary approach of sustainable innovation is described. This advanced approach is a suitable for manufacturing companies to meet the present challenges of the volatile, complex, and dynamic business environment in order to generate sustainable value. © Carl Hanser Verlag GmbH & Co.
