In order to provide personalized and professional service to improve the quality of information service for petroleum geophysical exploration and based on web service framework, we construct an information service model of petroleum geophysical exploration and carry out description of conception and formalization. With the aid of ontology idea, we construct ontology system of information service for petroleum geophysical exploration, show by formalization of requirement and service based on information service of petroleum geophysical exploration, carry out computation similarity of requirement and service by cosine coefficient method and arrange in order, so that realizing precious match between requirement and service, finishing the information service for petroleum geophysical exploration and effectively meeting the personalized request of the requestor of service for petroleum geophysical exploration.
