摘要
The importance in developing the interface between Fluent and Patran is expounded by combining the software characteristics of the existing Fluent and Patran and considering the requirements in ship mechanics calculations and liquid-solid coupling analysis. A detailed introduction of the Fluent-Patran interface functions and the development procedures as well as applied calculation examples is made, and an illuminating outlook for the application of such an interface in the ship mechanics is forecasted.
