摘要
The effects of fuel injection system parameters and combustion chamber geometry on emission of NOx and PM from a non-road turbocharged direct injection 395E diesel engine were experimentally studied in order to significantly reduce emission pollutants. The tested fuel injection system parameters included fuel supply advance angle, nozzle hole diameter, opening injection pressure and the inclined angle of injector installation. Experimental results show that with a smaller nozzle hole diameter (0.23 mm), smaller fuel supply advance angle (8°CA) and a necking-down dumbbell shape combustion chamber with mezzo diameter-deep ratio (2.857) and necking-down rate (1.06), NOx, NOx + HC, CO, PM emission of the tested diesel engine decrease to 6.30, 7.05, 0.90, 0.233g/(kW&middoth) respectively, the optimizated 395E diesel engine can meet the emission limits of EPA Tier 4 exhaust emission standards for non-road diesel engine.
