摘要
The criterion for searching the optimum parameters of the ATMD is defined as the minimization of the minimum values of the maximum translational and torsional displacement dynamic magnification factors of an asymmetric building with ATMD. The criterion for assessing the effectiveness of the ATMD is selected as the ratio of the minimum of the minimum values of the maximum displacement dynamic magnification factors of the asymmetric building with ATMD to the maximum displacement dynamic magnification factor of the asymmetric building without ATMD. With resorting to two criteria above defined, the influences of the normalized eccentricity ratio (NER) and torsional to transnational frequency ratio (TTFR) of the asymmetric building on the optimum parameters and the effectiveness of ATMD are discussed.
