Monte Carlo simulation of spin reorientation in magnetic multilayers

Based on the Heisenberg model, the spin reorientation behavior of magnetic multilayers system is simulated by using the Monte Carlo method. We have studied anisotropy, dipole-dipole interaction, the influence of external magnetic field on spin reorientation. By simulation and computation, the rules of changes in system configuration and magnetization in some special direction are determined by dipole-dipole interaction, external magnetic field and temperature are acquired. Hysteresis phenomena in magnetic multilayers by employing external magnetic field are also focused in the article.
