The isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium data of ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate-ethyl crotonate-ethanol system and of the related three binary systems were determined at 101.3kPa by using a vapor liquid-recycled equilibrium still. The integral method was used to examine the thermodynamic consistency. The constants of Antoine equation for the vapor pressure of the ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate and ethyl crotonate were correlated by experimental data. The activity coefficient of the liquid phase was correlated by the Wilson equation and the model parameters of Wilson equation were correlated by the nonlinear least square method. The VLE data of above ternary system were predicted by the Wilson equation, and the calculated boiling points show good agreement with the experimental data.
