This article reports the topics of the field in light application and visual science, the activities of the technical committee (TC-LAV) and the introduction of research of its technical meeting. The optical and electrical properties of Si solar cells with high-density nanodot structures formed by ultraviolet laser pulses are described. © 2025 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
