DOA estimation of wideband signals based on the Hermite function

摘要
Due to the problem that common algorithms of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of wideband signals need pre-estimation of the angles, an algorithm based on the Hermite function was proposed. Theoretical derivation of the algorithm was given, and through comparison and simulation it was proven that this algorithm can effectively separate angles from frequency, which can eliminate the problem of pre-estimation. Due to the excellent ability of convergence and the feature of energy concentration of the Hermite function, this algorithm has less computational complexity and higher estimation precision than the methods based on the Bessel function or Legendre function.
