摘要
Peter Fisk has authored a book titled 'People, planet, profit: how to embrace sustainability for innovation and business growth'. He quotes in his book as how business has responsibilities above and beyond profiteering, and how the macho attitudes of the past need to be reconsidered. He says that sustainability initiatives are no longer on the periphery of the business world but are a fundamental driver of business performance; part of the lifeblood of any responsible corporation. According to him, it's time to adapt or suffer the consequences, which means pursuing aims beyond shareholder value. Fisk includes a number of interesting case studies, including a pair which nicely illustrate the issue of choice. He provides many examples of the changing corporate landscape, and offers plenty of guidance to managers looking to improve their own performance and set their own sustainability agenda.
