Fifteen countries from CEE region are analyzed in the paper within the period from 2005 till 2010 with the aim of determining the relation between sources of financing and the wealth of the citizens. Moreover, the analysis uses the following tools: cluster analysis, correlation and panel regression. The main focus of this paper is on both domestic and foreign sources of financing: deposits and credits related to domestic banking sector, cross borders, foreign direct investments, portfolio investments and remittances.
