摘要
In the present study, the horizontal finite analytic method and vertical integration technique are applied to develop a three dimensional groundwater computational model. The free surface equation is specifically used in this model to deal with the difficult, highly nonlinear free surface of unconfined groundwater flow. This model is capable of handling geological variation of large area computation efficiently. Well-pumpings with confined and unconfined aquifers are computed. The comparison of computational results and analytical solutions for both confined and unconfined aquifers reveals high accuracy of the present model. For problem of groundwater flow disturbed by foundation piles of rail-way and problem of levee road damage caused by groundwater piping when storm surge occurs, we design two conceptual models to investigate them. We also suggest a remedy by increasing the permeability of structures such as foundation pile and gutter.
