New video steganalysis algorithm for MSU stego video

摘要：
MSU StegoVideo, an open video steganography software is deeply analyzed in this paper, its embedding mechanism is revealed by many kinds of sequences tests. The developers of MSU schemed a strongly robust spread spectrum steganography algorithm, so messages can be extracted correctly even after the stegovideo streams are compressed. In this paper, based on the distribution characteristics of the embedded data, a detecting algorithm is proposed by utilizing the distribution of block artifacts existing in reconstructed frames. Experiments show that the proposed steganalytic algorithm can effectively detect the existence of secret messages at different video coding bit rates.
