摘要
The importance of green intelligent buildings that can save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is discussed. The American Institute of Architects has stated that buildings emit about 48% of greenhouse gas. The GridWise Architecture Council has focused on the construction of buildings that emphasize the HVAC, automation and energy efficiency. It has organized an event focusing on the idea of interoperability between the grid and consumers. The event has aimed to develop collaboration between a group of participants for creating green buildings. The collaboration consists of manufacturers and integrators in the building space for building systems and educating the automation industry about the potential of construction industry.
