摘要
A practical method of applying the power spectral density function to the structure's seismic response and reliability analysis was proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the existing seismic response analysis for energy dissipation structures. A finite element model for a structure with liquid viscous damper was established by SAP2000. Then, on the basis of the principle of the power spectral density analysis and the probability estimation method of a structure's maximum seismic response, the traditional methods and the method based on power spectral density were used to analyze the seismic response and reliability of the structure. Results show that the seismic response of the structure with a viscous damper obtained by the power spectral density analys is closer to that obtained by the time-history analysis method compared with the mode response spectrum method. The power spectral density analysis method can be used conveniently to estimate the probability of the structure's maximum seismic response, which is necessary to calculate the seismic reliability of the structure.
